Consider Moses on Sinai. After beholding God’s glory, his face shone so brightly that Israel could not look at him (Exodus 34:29-30).

If a fading glimpse produced such radiance, imagine what the full, unveiled sight of Jesus will accomplish; we shall be like Him in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.

So how should you live today?

• Let your destiny discipline your day. John immediately adds that everyone who has this hope purifies himself, just as He is pure (1 John 3:3).

• Future glory is present motivation; live clean, forgive quickly, and love sacrificially, because you are rehearsing for who you will forever be.

• Feed this hope by living in hope daily and drawing on renewed hope when progress feels slow.

The Artist is not finished, but the unveiling is certain; we shall be like Him.
